The momentum generated by your support has created the necessary leverage to approach the Trinidad Chamber of Commerce formally. I am currently drafting a letter to the board requesting a meeting to discuss the name change proposal.

Dr Hess started this whole thing. It is only right to put his name on it after all these years.
DO IT. He is the legend of this race.
Long overdue. He was a pillar of the community and this run is his legacy.
Lived here my whole life and have done the run a dozen times. Lets honor the man who started it all.
He deserves the recognition. Without him there is no race.
