Force The Slum Lords of NY to make Correct repairs Not Tenants Out of Their homes!
The City of New York has become overrun by Slum Lords who are in the business of taking your money refusing to make repairs. If & when repairs are made we often find it is for appearances which Inspectors come to pass sending tenants into a loophole of a cycle that never ends. If your under a Government program your forced into yet another Slum Lord building & whether or not enrolled in a program NYC Citizens whom are overcome by poverty are forced out of their homes due to repairs or living conditions. In this position you are forced to cough up anywhere from $2500-$3500 to cover first month's rent, security & moving costs/labor. We find you don't have for your bills but have to come up with thousands because your Landlord refused to do the correct repairs sending millions into further debt & need for government help. The People Of New York whom are facing housing repair issues whom have contacted HPD & Their Management Company or have gone to court and have been through the in's and out's to just maintain liveable/sustainable living quarters need to Sign this Petition to hear the Roar of Hundreds of Thousands of Slum Lord Victims to Demand Law Makers along with New York City Officials to Force Our Landlords to make the Correct/Adequate Repairs and Not patch up work. Sign this Petition to call Law Makers to enforce Stricter laws demanding stiffer fines or change in process when said repairs are NOT met. Why should the citizens of New York whom don't have the means to move every year let alone make it where their at have to Move as opposed to the Landlord maintain the premises? We Want our Landlords to provide Quality Living Quarters free of Led,Asbestos,Vermin and Inadequate repairs. We Want the the Equal right to be provided Quality Repair/Living Standards and for our Government and City Council to make sure instead of being sent through Loopholes of Fire be sure to make sure the Landlord(s) are held responsible and Not the tenants whom in the end pay for the Slum Lords actions during and after residing in their building(s).
