MP Cheryl Gallant has insulted the integrity of the brave men and women of our Canadian Forces for the last time. She has stated that for military members who suffer from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) that any fear of reprisal from their superiors, is in their head. Ms. Gallant also states that no member of the forces is treated differently if they suffer from PTSD and that there is no way for them to be forced out of the military due to the fact that their superiors do not have access to their medical records.
Recent events show that members who have been diagnosed with PTSD are being forced out of the military, some before they have 10 years of service in, denying them any kind of a pension.
We need to stand behind our troops, more than ever. We need to send a clear message to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, demanding that he remove Ms. Gallant from her position.

The emails I receive from veterans and their families are getting harder to read because the stories of being forced out are so consistent. I am exhausted by the wall of silence we keep hitting but I refuse to let them forget these soldiers.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing the momentum grow confirms that people are finally refusing to ignore these injustices. I am tired of the excuses but I am not turning back now.

Unfortunate and disappointing words from a MP who represents an area that includes one of Canada's largest military contingents.
What difference does it make whether you live in her riding or not? What she said is ignorant and disrespectful to ALL Canadian soldiers, regardless of what riding they live in!
This women shouldnt be talking for this riding anymore and the comments that she made about ppl that suffer from PTDS is unacceptable!!!
As one of Ms. Gallant's constituents and a military spouse, i have to ask...Can some one please get the blade out of my back?
This is absolutely shameful and she she has no clue of the seriousness of PTSD and what it does to our soldiers and their family.
Please let us get rid on this skid mark of the valley and hopefully it will see it's previous greatness.

With comments like your and your recent NO Vote, please resign. I am a Veteran and DO NOT want someone who DOES NOT represent Veterans as an MP in my riding.
