On April 1st 2016, Frontier communications took over operations from Verizon in Florida, Texas, and California. Since that time, the service provided by Frontier has been completely unacceptable. There are many in these areas that have not had one or more of phone, television or internet service, and those who do have service, that service is well below the standard that we were provided by Verizon. The gross incompetence of support personnel, the negligence of field service, and the downright rudeness by customer service personnel has only exacerbated the issue.

When we signed a contract with Verizon, we were purchasing award winner products from an award winning company, and we were dropped off with a company that is well known for having poor service, and poor support, with less than stellar products. In fact, there were services that were provided by Verizon (i.e. viewing on demand purchases from mobile devices) that Frontier does not provide at all, nor does it plan to in the near future.

It was Verizon's contractual responsibility to it's customers that it ensure the service and products we would be provided by Frontier was comparable to the service and products provided by Verizon. Additionally, the FCC, which has oversight in this area, approved the sale.

It is time for the FCC, and Verizon to step in, the FCC as oversight, and Verizon in it's contractual responsibility, and fix the mess created when Frontier was forced upon us.
