HS in Louisville OH, you obviously forgot the meaning of the word so here you go: hu·mane (h)yo͞oˈmān/Submit adjective 1. having or showing compassion or benevolence. "regulations ensuring the humane treatment of animals" synonyms: compassionate, kind, considerate, understanding, sympathetic, tolerant.

You are not a "HUMANE" society if you kill dogs that have minor problems that can be fixed. Shame on you people.

Come on Stark County what happened here - this is not proper procedure and ring worm can be cured. Why was this dog destroyed?

Dogs need rights, they need to be made NOT a piece of property that is just disposable, like an old diaper !!! So sick of so much system abuse, lack of empathy, and sheer death of innocents...

Ringworm is no reason to kill a dog, especially one who has a rescue lined up and willing to take it. Shame!

Thank you for caring about Destiny and the other animals that end up at this "shelter."

We need to stop killing adoptable pets!

This did not need to happen to Destiny. If she was going to be put to sleep they should have told the man bringing her in that was going to happen.
