We humbly beseech the Church Authorities of Rome and His Holiness to uphold the dignity of Holy Mother Church by defending, protecting and enforcing Canon 212 and also to take heed of the follow allegations, conclusions and wishes by the faithful under this Canon for the good of Christ's Church and the Greater Glory of God. Consequently, here presented, on the grounds of exercising Canon 212; are the parts of the Catechism that we feel have been breached, ignored, misrepresented or not defended by His Grace Archbishop Vincent Nichols and those who carry out, support or take part in the Soho Gay Masses in conjunction, as a result of the evidence provided below (preceding these citations) and various other mediums that provide evidence in the public sphere, readily available.
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
2363 The spouses' union achieves the twofold end of marriage: the good of the spouses themselves and the transmission of life. These two meanings or values of marriage cannot be separated without altering the couple's spiritual life and compromising the goods of marriage and the future of the family.
2366 Fecundity is a gift, an end of marriage, for conjugal love naturally tends to be fruitful. A child does not come from outside as something added on to the mutual love of the spouses, but springs from the very heart of that mutual giving, as its fruit and fulfillment. So the Church, which is "on the side of life,"151 teaches that "it is necessary that each and every marriage act remain ordered per se to the procreation of human life."152 "This particular doctrine, expounded on numerous occasions by the Magisterium, is based on the inseparable connection, established by God, which man on his own initiative may not break, between the unitive significance and the procreative significance which are both inherent to the marriage act."
1577 "Only a baptized man (vir) validly receives sacred ordination."[66] The Lord Jesus chose men (viri) to form the college of the twelve apostles, and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed them in their ministry.[67] The college of bishops, with whom the priests are united in the priesthood, makes the college of the twelve an ever-present and ever-active reality until Christ's return. The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.

Can. 227 To lay members of Christ's faithful belongs the right to have acknowledged as theirs that freedom in secular affairs which is common to all citizens. In using this freedom, however, they are to ensure that their actions are permeated with the spirit of the Gospel, and they are to heed the teaching of the Church proposed by the magisterium, but they must be on guard, in questions of opinion, against proposing their own view as the teaching of the Church.

PETITION STATEMENT:
FOR THE ABOLITION OF THE BLASPHEMOUS AND SACRILEGIOUS SOHO MASSES AND/OR REMOVAL OF ARCHBISHOP VINCENT NICHOLS:
With regards to the above evidence and allegations, noting that it represents only a minority about which one should be enraged as a sheep of Christ, we the undersigned sincerely and completely condemn the Soho "Gay" Masses and those senior Church figures who support them. We believe the Soho Gay masses to be wrong in principle due to it's politicising of the Holy Mass and it's segregation, disobedience, heresy, and obsession with and promotion of sexual immorality. Furthermore we reject the Soho Masses as a tool for dissent towards the Vatican and the Catholic Church, along with all its teaching on homosexuality and other elements of the Catechism and Canon Law. As a result we implore the Church Authorities to immediately ban the Soho Mass and call for the excommunication of those who disobey the Church just as has been done with other dissident groups and individuals in the past.
Moreover, we feel that these masses are sacrilegious, blasphemous and any failure to act by the Church could present a grave opportunity for unwanted splits, schisms, sins and all who fail to support Christ and condemn these actions will be held accountable at their deaths.
We furthermore disassociate ourselves from Archbishop Vincent Nichols' actions and attitude on this and other matters, and in doing so de facto unite our views and feelings with Christ, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI and Holy Mother Church. We hold that he has failed his flock in all of England and Wales by failing to clarify or support Church teaching on a number of issues from abortion, to same-sex marriage. We believe him to be unfaithful to the church and governed by his own sentiments rather than concerned with the delivering of souls to heaven. This has become evident in television interviews, newspapers comments, talks given by His Grace himself and his attitude towards those who oppose his views as needing to learn to "hold their tongues". This is embarrassing for Catholics and also a misrepresentation of the Church's stance to all. We as faithful Catholics express great concern for His Grace, and although we believe that Archbishop Vincent Nichols is unworthy of being the our Primate, and is unsuitable as a Bishop and leader to Catholics in England and Wales, we also endeavour to offer him our prayers and prayers for his intentions and for all the clergy. Nevertheless, we do not flinch from expressing that we believe both he and the Gay mass, on who's website he has allowed his sermons to posted to and has given his support to, are actively behaving against the Church and call for his immediate dismissal forthwith.
We believe that the mass should not be hijacked for socio-political reasons, and Christ's death and sacrifice on Calvary, and institution of the Eucharist was meant to concern salvation and sacrifice along with the other sacraments, not sexuality and should never be used in this way. Rainbow flags and cross-dressing has no place in the mass, and the liturgical wording is blasphemous and not in-keeping with the spirit of the mass, we therefore condemn it charitably and call on action to be taken against His Grace who should have done the same but has done the opposite. We believe the mass, and Our Lord with his Angels and Saints, and the office of Archbishop from the Apostles, warrants more reverence and respect than this, and we humbly call and pray for the Vatican to take heed and fulfil this requirement.
We also draw attention to the fact that other Bishops have charitably and truthfully pointed out errors in the gay mass and in other issues related to the Church in the fashion that we would most expect our leader to have done so, and where he has failed to do so, which is a great shame and warrants prayer as well as disciplinary action. Other Bishops have been clear on church teaching when questioned which is healthy for Catholics, and provides clarification to non-Catholics, we feel that His Grace has failed to carry out the same charitable works in these instances as shown above and with regards to the Soho Masses particularly.
We do this not out of malice, but out of faith and duty to Our Lord who was crucified on the cross, and in support of His Holiness. We sign this petition in order to oppose error and not approve it, in order to defend the truth and not suppress it, we are as we should; confounding evil men so as not to commit a sin equal to encouraging them.
