We were told countries need to be Hague compliant...yet even when they are there appears to be barriers. How many more barriers are we expected to overcome? I understood that if both countries were Hague compliant that thing should run more smoothly. The opposite seems to have happened

I fully support this petition, being an adoptive parent already & agree with the comments that another person said on this petition, where the adoption board should be doing everything to help the good in people trying to give disadvantaged children in countries like India a better chance in life.

I fully support this petition and believe that the Adoption Authority of Ireland needs to support those Irish citizens who are attempting to adopter from India (and elsewhere) - and not create such an obtuse and convoluted model that it puts them at a disadvantage. The Adoption Authority of Ireland should be an asset and not a hinderance to those trying to adopt.
