Final supporters
This petition has been formally composed by the Artistically Inclined, a student body that cares.
We, at The Art Institute of Tinley Park, demand:
- A formal resignation of our current Head Librarian, Lindsay Arndt. We disapprove of her actions that show disregard to those around her and her inability to do her job effectively.
- A formal apology to all those she has caused humiliation and grief to.
- Demario Stovall, a beloved security guard, be returned to employment and active duty immediately. He was wrongly terminated and we at this institute demand his return.
- The Allied Barton Security to do everything within their power to reinstate Demario Stovall to his rightful place as the Security Guard at the Illinois Art Institute in Tinley Park.
- Jodi Lawrence and their power in formally relinquishing Lindsay Arndt of her duties as Head Librarian.
We can not stress enough how much grief and discomfort Lindsay Arndt has caused the student body at the Tinley Park campus. We sign this petition in hopes that everything can and will be dealt with in a swift manner.

Reason for Mr. Stovall's termination:
Mr. Stovall had arrived on time to his workplace, but soon after arriving received a call for a family emergency. He informed those around him that he had to leave immediately. Lindsay Arndt, wrongfully accused Mr. Stovall of "never showing up for work" that day.

The stories coming in from students confirm exactly why this change is necessary. We are meeting with administration soon to demand justice for Demario.

There is a lot of people here that call friend. But morio I call brother he always cares and looks after everyone that attends the school students and instructor's alike. It brakes my heart to see someone to wish Ill on someone like him a good man and an amazing dad
This situation is uncalled for and not fair. Even if you don't know the parties involved, please help us get the signatures we need. Mario had done nothing wrong, always does his job, always shows up on time, is respectful & most importantly, always has made everyone feel safe at the school. Lindsey, has been nothing but bad at her job, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and rude to those around her. She lied to Mario's employers the day of the problem, there is no reason why Mario should've lost his job.
It is absolutely unfair that Mario has to lose his job for leaving work for a family emergency when Lindsay can come into work hours late for no reason and them complain about everyone else.
Demario Stovall was almost always the first person I saw when I walked through the door of that school. He could do his job better with his hands behind his back and his eyes closed, than the librarian could ever do. She has also made several rude remarks.
It is because of this librarian that I will not step into the library. She has invaded my personal space too many times. It is one thing to get nosey and ask numerous personal questions but she went to far. Without permission, she walked over to the table I was at and grabbed my phone. She then proceeded to go into my phone's gallery and start scrolling through photos. It didn't stop there however as she then went into my emails. Lindsey is nothing but a nuisance to this school.

From what I know of the nature of this woman and have seen Lindsey only cares about herself and not the student body of the art institute and will purposely go out of her way to make someone's life miserable for her own amusement. Demario was a pretty good guy and it's unfair for him to lose his job in his situation especially. The staff doesn't like this woman, neither do the students. I'm even told that one fellow teacher or college professor drinks often because of the irresponsible and immature behavior of Lindsey. I pray for her really and I pray that Demario gets his job back especially.
