The school administration finally approved our request for a rally. It took a lot of persistence to get them to recognize our perspective but the platform is officially ours. We proved that fairness means hearing from both sides.

Throughout the past month, the rights of all Americans to bear arms has come under attack. This attack is prevalent at Easton Area High School. The Easton Walkout Conmittee is hiding its true political views under the blanket of dishonesty. They associate with Pro Gun control activist Lane Murdock and push haven’t given a voice for all sides of the aisle. It is our turn to demand that Easton Area High School gives us our platform to defend our rights and liberties.

I have been hearing from so many students who feel like their perspectives are being ignored in our hallways. It is frustrating to see one side of this debate get all the attention while our own freedoms are kept in the shadows. We are working on a plan to ensure our message is delivered directly to the administration.

It is only fair to have a PRO-2nd Amendment rally conaidering students had a walk out that schools encouraged against the right to bear arms. The school then muat support this one too, or it condones content discrimination in exercising rights which could surely go to supreme court if you fail to give the other side a voice.
I kept my son home from east hills because I believe it's wrong to politicize only one side of debate in public school and also that it's wrong to ignore the real statistics involving guns and either way a Right given to us by GOD cannot be taken away by any man or law of man! Our Constitution recognizes this! Support the 2nd Amendment!
The other side of the issue needs to be heard. I believe the schools should not be taking political sides but if they are going to get involved then gun rights advocates have a right to be heard.
Good for you Andrew for standing up for opposing views. Guns are not the problem, people are the problem... I know many responsible young and older gun owners. Best of luck to you and your endeavors from a proud EAHS grad.
We have the same problem at Freedom HS. I think it is very important that all views are represented, not just one. But in this case I do not think all views were represented, and that this should be addressed.

if pro gun control students are allowed to voice their concerns and opinions in protest and we are a democratic society that values critical thinking, then those with the opposite opinion must be afforded the same opportunity
