Foothills Motocross Track Under Threat

I have been riding here since the start it was fun and kept me from getting into trouble as a teenager and my son that is now 7 and has been riding since 3 loves to go there and it is a place were we can spend time together with family and friends . It is ashame that this place has been there way longer than the people complaining and if they didn't like it being there they should not have bought property close by

A track like this is great for the kids in the community. It is a family sport and teaches responsibility respect and safety. JG

I've been riding here since 1992. 23 years for me, this Fall!

Fpt is simply where I learned how to ride competitively and taking it away is ludacris.

This track is very special to my family, my husband grew up riding dirt bikes here and it is the first place our 8 year old first learned to ride! Motocross is a family sport, a sport that family loves and never have I met any better people than what I have at the track! Please let us keep this track open!

This place is great. Kids from all around western NC go there to ride. Soon there will be nothing left for young people to do but sit around and play video games.

I grew up racing motocross. It gave me a positive focus for my youthful energies instead of pursuing negative endeavors. I feel the loss of this venue would take away from this community and eliminate a very positive avenue for the local and regional youth to take advantage of.

This facility provides a safe, enjoyable outdoor activity for many families in the area. It would be a shame to close the track when all steps have been taken to comply with local regulations!

If you do not like what it going on in a neighborhood or adjoining property don't buy. Its a simple fix. No one should have a right to move in and tell people they have to change.

Great, SAFE, well run practice track that many in know drive hours to ride at. With a lifetime of experience around motorcycles, I believe these acusations are reduculous and really believe this facility to be a asset to thier community.

Been riding there for years great environment

I have been to this park twice in my life years ago. I loved the park. All riders are family. If you shut down a park you kill part of that family.

This track is a huge benefit to the community.

Please reconsider this action. Common sense should prevail and looking at the complaints it's clear that is not the case. We keep taking away things from our kids that a few dislike without any consideration of the people that get enjoyment and family time for the activity others are trying to end.
