This track is literally tucked away inside the trees out in the boonies. Its been there for a long time. The unfortunate part is that there are so few places for MXers to ride in the WNC region. Do we know if the people that are complaining moved in before or after the track? If it was after, then they most certainly need to either move or deal with it. On a seperate note, I am curious if making the track "Private" and charging a membership fee to access private land would change the legality of it all.

The town should support a safe place for kids to learn to safely ride. The track has been there longer, an nd people should research an area before purchasing, not complain after, the track does for a fact help to stimulate the local economy so people should be thankful!!! I would know the town exists had it not been or this track...install some trees and shrubs for a sound barrior and stop complaining, or move.

I have not had a chance to ride this track but any place that offers a place to ride Dirt Bikes is something I will take a stand for!

Why is it people complain about a MX track? All we want is a place to ride/practice our sport, just like all the kids who play football, basketball, baseball and any other field sport. Let us RIDE.

This would be a shame..I have been going to this track since 1994 or 95 before it even was much of a track.. matt and family and the track have been great to the motocross community as avid lovers of the sport as well.. I moved away for a few years and first track I went back too was Columbus. .I'd hate to see it go..

Please keep the track open. I began riding at this track when I was 17yrs old. Now my son is involved in MX and has enjoyed riding at FPT for several years. We have to remember, the neighbor that is making the complaints purchased the property with knowledge of an existing MX Track.

Please keep places for people and especially our kids a place to ride our dirt bikes. There are far to many "evil" things our kids can get into these days. Riding dirt bikes is a good way parents keep our kids close.

This is the first track I ever rode as a kid. I have so many memories here. Every thing from the first time hitting the big booster in the middle, to learning and getting my whips down, all the way to blowing my 85 up while holding it wide back in the sand. This place is one that all of us in the motocross family love. Please don't take this away from us. Please and thank you.
