Pls add hygiene to this, and I suggest we also get healthy snacks/sandwiches in the vending machines, for those who are not able to eat till 1400!

I bring food for myself as a personal choice, but when I do not manage to prepare a meal, I prefer to go out to the nearby confectionery shops and order some fresh ricotta or buy a packet of nuts or a fresh salad than to buy the expensive/unhealthy foods that the canteen offer

I stopped eating at the canteen since the hygene is poor. Handling of food and handling of money and cleaning of worktops is done without washing hands between one task and another.

In fact, it would be IN FAVOR of canteen staff because if you bought from there instead of going elsewere/delivering their jobs become more secure!

Oh really, put yourself in this position:
You forgot (or didn't prepare lunch at home), it's lunch time and it's raining outside. What are you going to do then? Stay hungry? Go out, get wet (and smelly due to overflowing drainage pipes) and buy from elsewhere? Or would you go get something from the canteen?
I bet you that quite a considerable number of people here have faced this situation at least once here
