Food trucks have proven to boost the local culture and economies of cities like Austin, TX, Greenville, SC, and Raleigh, NC, to name a few. Let's put Athens on that level. Holy Crepe is locally owned, pays local taxes and rent, and employs locals. Let them contribute.

As many cities have already found, this will be a great thing for Athenian culture and for injecting new life in areas in need of some invigoration. All business--including restaurants and cafe-- benefit from the curiosity generated by food trucks. More spaces for them to park also means that more local business owners will open food trucks and contribute to the local economy.

Food trucks are small businesses and should be allowed downtown just as much as the brick & mortar businesses. After all, it's just for one day a week.

Roswell and Alpharetta both do something similar, except theirs is seasonal. Regardless, they always have a huge turn out and usually live music. Great way to boost local economy and synergy!

I would love to see Food Trucks in Downtown Athens on Thursdays especially late night. Having Food Trucks would bring more people downtown. It would bring me downtown an additional day.
yes please!
