I also grow tomatoes, two kinds of onions, swiss chard, dill, cucumbers, melons, peppers, zucchini, and very many herbs. Thank you for the petition. I live in the Henderson area.

I'm on a well with several other residents so I can't water and it's made a tremendous difference for my garden. It's just about a write off this year. All I've gotten so far is a few zucchini and a very small hand full of cherry tomatoes (4 I think). I really don't know if my investment in the garden will pay off at all this year. The plants are stunted and just not producing. Watering is critical. I think Sean and others producing food should be allowed to water as needed.

I think food gardens should be exempted from watering restrictions as they are essential.

These changes are an absolute necessity. During this drought watering vegetables everyday is essential.

As a gardener, I couldn't agree more. We need to do all we can to encourage and support local food growth. I think this is just a matter of the city's by-laws catching up with the realities of today.

I totally agree with the petition ! and would like the City to be really sustainable and enforce their by-laws on sustainability, like idling cars for instance...
