We believe all staff and students have a right to express their faith and practice their religion under the Equality Act 2010 to ‘advance equality of opportunity’ for all to champion diversity and celebrate multiculturalism. Thus we campaign strongly towards channelling and unifying the demands and frustrations of City University students and staff who are unable to fulfil and practise their religious observance in the face of discriminatory and repressive policies, actions and decisions by university management. Achieved through the unification of various well established and newly established student led campaigns thus forming a cohesive and coherent strategy, body and approach in order to place pressure on the university management to provide adequate facilities and to apply non discriminatory and non repressive policies, actions and decisions which allow its staff and students to have the freedom of faith. 

We are calling for a permanent faith facility to be built/allocated on campus just like every other University in the country.
