Flower Mound Youth Football is a new youth football and cheer program for children ages 4 to 12. The philosophy and goal of FMYFA is to give children the opportunity to learn and play organized tackle football or cheer while building character to set them on the right path for life. Through FMYFA children will learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, persistence, sportsmanship...AND build friendships that go beyond the field. Flower Mound Youth Football Association was started to help lay the foundation for players to be successful in Flower Mound football programs. FMYFA is working closely with the coaches of Flower Mound and Marcus High Schools to ensure necessary fundamentals are introduced into the league. In an effort to promote our business locally we approached the city about becoming a sponsor of the Town Of Flower Mound Independence Day Fest. The sponsorship would give us the opportunity to have a 10x10 booth for the festival. The Recreation Superintendent of Flower Mound informed an FMYFA representatice that the town would not allow FMYFA to have a booth as they were supporting a local competitor. We have tried to no avail to resolve this matter via phone calls, emails and an appearance at the city council meeting. FMYFA believes we deserve the opportunity to promote and advertise our business just like any other business in the city. We are also concerned that the city would discriminate against ANY business in Flower Mound. We need your help.
