It is not uncommon to see trucks speeding on 1461 with speeds in excess 75mph. Keep these trucks off 1461 and prevent major accidents!

Please make FM1461 a NO TRUCK ROUTE. They are ruining our country living we moved here seeking.

My daughter will be driving soon along 1461 to get to Prosper High School. Trucks with a heavy loads can't stop quickly enough when any of us are pulling out, especially in the valley portions of the road. Please keep 1461 safe for all by supporting this petition.

Please make 1461 a NO TRUCK route. I personally have almost been sideswiped by large trucks crossing the center lines several times while driving my kids to school. I pass 8-10 haulers every morning. Trucks on this route are extremely dangerous!

PLEASE make 1461 a No Truck route. With all the increase in construction in our area, these 18 wheelers are driving down 1461 at dangerously high speeds every single day. If Celina does not take measures to show the citizens that they are listening to our concerns (as they've ignored our water concerns for years), Celina will likely not grow and thrive as surrounding communities have been showing to do.

I had to swerve off of the road the other day to keep an eighteen-wheeler from killing a biker. He was going too fast to stop, and I whipped over into the grass in time for him to pull into my lane and miss the bike. 1461 needs NO BICYCLISTS and NO BIG TRUCKS. It's too narrow, residential, and dangerous to have these guys on the road.

I had a large truck almost hit me yesterday. They don't seem to care what happens but get to someplace fast. There's going to be a bad accident along LF road.

We totally agree that large trucks should stay on roads engineered for heavy vehicles. Once the tollway is extended that will give them a second North/South option. Neighborhood streets are not the place for heavy vehicles.

We have lived on 1461 for 18 years and the truck traffic way too heavy!

1461 is becoming increasingly dangerous due to an increase in Truck traffic, excessive speeds, lack of law enforcement. There are accidents frequently at the intersections of Coit and Custer. Please make something happen! Option 1: Reroute Trucks Option 2: Add more police to squelch the violations. Speeding, Loads uncovered etc. Option 3: Put in lights at Custer and Coit. Trucks will divert due to timing.

I leave Gentle Creek by way of 1461 most of the time. Those huge trucks FLY past the entrance. They could not stop in time to avoic anyone or anything.

The road is already a mess since repaving last year and the noise is awfull. Not to mention the children and pets living alongside. These guys drive like maniacs in an attempt to carry more loads in order to make more money.

This is a very dangerous situation that is only going to grow worse with time. Please make the necessary changes to promote safety to all the families living along and using 1461.

Please make 1461 a no truck route. This is very noisy and dangerous for all of us who live right off of the road.

We do not need the truck traffic on 1461. Let's keep Prosper and Celina the places where we can raise our families without the worry of 18 wheelers racing alone 1461

I applaud Prosper Town Council's support of the "No Trucks" issue on FM1461. And I'm appalled at Celina's refusal to agree. We surely don't need heavy truck traffic going past all the children playing at Frontier Park.
