It seems more important than ever now, to keep in unity with our European neighbours, so please fly the flag.

So many of us love european holidays, european food, european television, why not celebrate Europe?

Brexit was an inexcusable act of national self-harm. We should at least rejoin the EU as an associate member, a la Switzerland or Norway.

We should acknowledge and celebrate the great achievements of the EU, particularly the creation of a peaceful and thriving union of nations, which has contributed so much to the world, and will continue to do so.

Please, please, please fly the European Flag on Europe Day. On behalf of my French children and grandchildren, and my Finnish wife and in-laws.

this is important for a city which has benefitted so much from its European connections.

The flag is the flag of Europe, so doesn't have to have anything to do with the EU (for the right wing bigots who still have an issue with that).
