Skateparks are a huge asset for any community. Considering that fun concrete skateparks are rare in our region, I would happily drive a couple of hours to ride my BMX bike at one in Valpo.

I experienced Flounder as a kid, and hope to see the 2nd improved version come to life! It would be a great addition to our community!

I don’t skate, but I have seen over the years how used flounder skate park is, on a daily basis by all ages. Whether it’s parents teaching their 4 year olds, to older people recreationally. For my Eagle Scout project, I refurbished the old flounder skate park paint from yellow/gold to green/black and repaired structural problems.

Please make this happen! I live in valpo and would like to not have to drive an hour to go to a decent skatepark! The plans look amazing !

Skated this park through highscool and some college with the other locals. Please build a new park so as to enable a new generation of kids to shred

We need this skate park for many good reasons and one of them is just for the society over all.

Please, please, please have flounders remodeled or redone as a whole. I really want to pick up skating again, and I can't do that at Flounders, unfortunately.
