Flounder II

The fact that a new park was promised years ago (with claims of there being nothing like it between Chicago and Indianapolis) and funds were likely paid for a design that did not happen makes this particularly important. I will add that users of the current facility are occasionally struck with frisbee golf discs after a poorly planned tee off was located adjacent to the skatepark. Here's an article link for info on the previous plans https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nwitimes.com/news/local/govt-and-politics/valpo-closing-its-skate-park-plans-new-modern-one/article_917fd800-08b6-5edd-afb0-7f48df8a2d5a.amp.html

Let’s get this DONE!!!

We loved this skatepark growing up!!

I skated this park for over 15 years and watched it slowly downsize and become unsafe and rundown. Super stoked to see a movement to make it skateable and safe again.

We need a new park, flounders park is old and getting dangerous to ride at

***All smooth concrete skatepark is a must*** It will not only last longer but you will make every single skater so much happier. Terrible gravel pavement & wood ramps is a thing of the past & has absolutely no flow. Please Please Please Make this park all concrete. It’s all about FLOW

A skate park would be a great addition to vslparaiso

Good Idea!

Definitely a bowl to pump around. A street section and a park section

Please build a skatepark!

Please bring this to our town!

This is desperately needed social infrastructure!!!

PLEASE do this for the community! We will do our best to keep it clean and safe!!! I will personally clean the area if need be!!! We need a safe place to skate! We still do it...so help us do it the right way!!! Thank you!

I can't skate but this should happen!
