Team Pain Skateparks or Hunger skateparks will be the best build/design quality park.
All the skateparks in Northwest Indiana are severely out dated with the exceptions of Highland and Hessville. This would be a great addition to valpo.

Nice park and nice skatepark just needs a tad bit of updating of the wood and the hand rail. Youll get more income for parking and what not if you update the park for us.

Flounder has to come back. Me and some friends skate all the time and own a brand. By the day were running out of places to film skate clips. Now the only skatepark in Valpo is gone. Flounder was a memorial and now it's gone. Please bring it back!

ive been going here for about 6 years now. it was really stupid when i heard that it was being taken down. for me its the only skatepark in the area, and it has to be rebuilt.

Valpo is in need of a new skatepark. Since it is in Rogers Lakewood, a nice skatepark would benefit the town, and park, since you have to pay to get it. The skating and bmx scene is huge around this area and we need an improvement.

This is a great thing and a long time coming. My son goes to Flounder often. The deterioration of the park over the years is a safety concern. Hopefully a new park can be more visible and accessible. The new skate parks in Highland and Hammond Indiana are great examples of what could be done in Valparaiso.
