The Chicago Cubs are considering moving their Spring Training Facility to Collier County. The Cubs are one of the most fan friendly and popular teams in the Major Leagues, their spring training games are always the top draws. The positive yearly economic impact to Collier County is estimated at $45 million/yr. The facility will be the headquarters for their scouting and training operations and will be in use almost year-round. This facility will be a great asset to our community encouraging youth and adult sports and other programs. We support the efforts to bring the Cubs to Collier County!
