Florida Residents Stand Against Extreme Rate Increases by TECO

You’re price gouging us!

my electric bill is more than doubled from last year,with the same usage. your greed is killing us!

TECO is robbing us blind!! My electrical bill for a single man who is never home is double what it was last year. I turn off lights - use fans - conserve energy. This is unrealistic, something has to give. TECO needs to be governed by his much they can charge.

I recently upgraded my appliances and washer and dryer to energy efficiency and my bill has almost double. I see how you made a BIG PROFIT last year.

I pay almost $700 a month. I can barely stay on top of my Bill's. Ridiculous

Needing some energetic FL government intervention to reduce utility bills in Florida.

We retired folks that moved here do not deserve the high cost of electricity. Please do something about this situation

The rate increase is way too high. Many are on fixed incomes on others barely making it on 2 incomes

If costs are not contained, the bubble will burst and we will have a repeat of 2008. The middle class and the poor cannot keep getting the shaft!

I live on Social Security I was pay around $200 a month now went up to over 400

My family is part of the “low income” community and it has been incredibly hard to cover all the costs of living and the teco rates, it’s put us in jeopardy of getting our electricity turned off. With these prices, it’s taking away from the money we need to have groceries. This really needs to change. If the pay rates aren’t going up, neither should the electricity rates. It’s putting MANY families in a severe hardship.

Lower our TECO bill

Please stop the increases and lower our electric bills.

It is my Hope that the "Livelihood" of families and their ability to afford something that is no longer a mere luxury, is in the forefront of the planning of TECO. When all your household needs are dependent upon a certain utility and that utility becomes unaffordable, what is the community to do? This is not a rhetorical question; what is a community to do?

Please investigate Teco electric and what they are doing to the residents here ! This is ridiculous and not right !

Why is Teco Electric doubling our electric bill. The cost of a monthly electric bill is now reflecting the cost of a auto loan. This needs to stop
