STOP abusing families! My dear God, what else do the family members need but abuse from the system?

my husband is in there and it feels like they want us to just give up. how is keeping me away for a dui helping anyone. its just cruel.

The FL DOC Mission statement & Goals, speak to the inmate going back to society as a better person. Yet the policiies & practices while incarcerated work towards destruction of families, person & positivity.

I think that is ridiculious....family shiuld have the ability to see their loved ones regardless of what tgey have been charged with or how long its been. I say as long as rheyvdont have a warrant out for their arrest then by all means you should be able to visit with your loved ones. I had an experience with COs over stepping their boundries, I recently went to visit my fiance and because a lady asked me a question and I answered with my honest opinion on the way a CO was he called me over to where he was standing and asked for my slip....tge lady asked why is he not letting that poor man in afrer he made him take his jacket sweater and belt to his car. I said because although the CO has a bad attitude the gentleman shouldnt of thrown his come on the floor, but it is underatandable he was fustrated with the attitude and behavior of this CO....I then stated that when u act out and give them what they want they will push their power ...they treat us the visitors as inmates and always try to talk down at us and yell like we have commited some crime.
