Flows all over the globe embark on the Odyssey in a personal quest of strength, hope, beauty, inspiration, and guidance. Each song of «How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful» is a gift, but there is one particular song that completely unravelled each of us, and then stitched our hearts back together. Of all the songs on all of your records, «Various Storms & Saints» stands apart as the most outspoken, the most heart-rendingly honest, tinged with poignant vulnerability, and full of raw emotion cloaked in riveting lyrics.

Dear Florence, we can, we surely will choke with tears listening to that song but we ask you, we beg you to perform it live! Since this song ultimately made it to the record, please give us the rarest possibility to hear it. Only if for a night. We do remember you saying how hard it was for you to be so emotionally exposed, to allow the song to be so stripped-back, how difficult it was to cope with the closeness and the intimacy of your vocal delivery, not hiding behind the wall of sound and reverb. We do understand that «Various Storms & Saints» captures a deeply personal experience and may trigger the sad memories of the moments long gone and done with, but we promise we will be there for you. We will sing along with you, in the first row or in front of the screen, we will cry our hearts out and we will try our best to comfort you.
