Flintshire CC  cannot be allowed to put so many children at risk like this. The children will have to encounter a long walk along a pathway that is not protected from a major road. This dual carriageway has minimal lighting and seen many fatal accidents due to weather and vehicle users fault. The walk to the senior school is over 3 miles for a great many children and will take minimum 1 hour of walking eachway putting an extra 2 hrs on the day for these children. They will be vunerable to the weather systems, cars and heavy goods vehicles passing in extreme close proximity, exhaustion and open to unscrupulous people that are part of our society today. Much of their journey will be in the dark and putting the childrens safety below monetory value is immoral by anybodys standards.
