This route was always well supported when flybe ran it. We now have to either go to birmingham from Cardiff to get to Cork or take the ferry , either route making a once 4 hr round trip a now 8 to 12 hr trip. And in the UK they are advertising holidays to the Wild Atlantic Way by flying to Dublin. Its madness , this route is much needed for West Cork Tourism

There is a very clear demand for flights between Bristol and Cork. The entire South West of England and South Wales is a substantial market for flights to and from Cork which is no longer being serviced. Many used the flights regularly. We understand that the airports themselves cannot click their fingers and magic up flights but there needs to be more marketing to airlines to provide a service which meets the significant demand. This petition has not been widely communicated so the actual numbers on the petition might not be great but the comments from those who are aware of it should give a feel for the demand

There has been no answer from Cork airport or Aer Lingus Regional regarding the return of this long standing route following the pandemic that connected Cork with SW England.

I fully agree this is a vital service from Cork to Bristol, as is also demonstrated by the multiple comments of followers on the Cork Airport Facebook page. I have also written a letter to the Marketing team at Cork Airport urging an intensive campaign by them to re instate this vital link from Southern Ireland to S.W UK. We have driven past Cork Airport multiple times in 2022, to get a bus from Cork City in order to travel to Dublin, for a connection to Bristol! How ludicrous! Apart from the inconvenience, it also drains investment and finances from Cork to feed the monster that is Dublin airport!

Friends and family who live in Dorset and Devon travelling to visit us in Mallow are now forced to fly via Dublin, or through the London airports which means the trip now takes 8-9 hours and or includes over night in Dublin. Please bring back Cork to Bristol.

It would be great if the service came back again. Very hard for family members to travel back & forth from Cardiff and Bristol. They are all day travelling.otherwise.

We have regularly used this flight - at least twice a year - to bring my mother here for stays.
It is also the flight I use to regularly visit her. To drop the Bristol route would be devastating, and cause us tremendous problems.
