I love Flat Rock Park and adding or enclosing a dog park would be great. Why not also include a water splash pad for during the hot summer months?

I had this idea a couple of years ago to put one where the old pavilion was that burned down. I hope it's going there...great idea!!!

I work for Park Services of Park and Recreation, I asked the question before about dog parks at all of the parks. I to did not receive any feedback. I just hope that if Flat Rock does receive a dog park, that the users will pick up after their dog and not leave it to nature. It gets caught in the tires of the tractors that cut the grass and I don’t like poop thrown at me. Also, it is a leashed Park, but some people feel that it doesn’t apply to them. If we want something new in the Park we must obey the rules at the park located at the entrance of the one way only front gate Thank you

I will volunteer, I also own a home improvement company and have tools, and associate degree in computer aided drafting and draw plans for permits etc.

There are so many small hidden cacti at flat Rock that we are scared to take our dog! A specially sectioned dog park that is maintained to be cacti free would be perfect for us to bring him!
