We, the residents of Flat Rock, do hereby protest against any change to the Official Zoning Map by our elected officials that would rezone the property located East of Arsenal and North of Vreeland Road from R-1B (Single Family Residential) to C-3 (General Commercial Underlying District) for the purpose of constructing a Meijer, Inc. store and gas station/convenience store.

STOP the city council from REZONING land that is currently RESIDENTIAL (R-1B) to COMMERCIAL (C-3)… therefore allowing a 24-hour Meijer store to come in! This is NOT an anti-Meijer campaign. We think Meijer would be a great addition to the Flat Rock residents in one of our already commercially zoned (C-3) sites. Your neighborhood could be next.
