Bad idea to reduce life guards. One list life and you will wish you hadn't.

With the reduction in parking on the south side after the A1A rebuild north side gets busier and busier stretching all the way down to Beverly we needs more guards not less. Protect the safety of Flaglers best asset. Makes sense to me.

This is a life safety matter. I would hope other areas could be cut if necessary.

As an Alumni Flagler Beach lifeguard, I know how vital this role is for public safety on our beaches. Especially with the growth that has occurred in Flagler County, we can't afford to reduce the lifeguard budget and personnel at this time of need.

Lifeguards on FLagler Beach are not ‘optional’ and lives are at stake. The guards provide an important and valuable service to the constituents of the city and beyond. Do not reduce the work force!

Safety of many swimmers. When the whistle blows he is attempting to tell you something whether you are in the water or on the beach. FIRST AID , CPR.
Having extra eyes.

We need our Flagler Beach Lifeguards! Each rescue is a life saving event for both the lifeguard and the person being rescued! Reducing this budget line item AGAIN does not make sense!
You need life Guards for everyone’s safety!!
