Flagler Beach has always been an amazing beach for everyone. The life guards are so needed as we have a lot of seniors especially over the age of 70 years old and above. Also the safety to the children and teens. This area has become very populated that now we have all group ages. Please keep the life guards. Thank You

Lifeguards are import. Visitors are not always the safest ones. Not to mention to help employ more willing, able and skilled people. Lifeguards save lives.

My husband is a Volusia County lifeguard and has made rescues when there were no lifeguards on duty.

Every beach needs a fully staffed lifeguards! Reducing lifeguards with put the lives in the hands of flagers politicians death will be in your hands!

Don't reduce the amount of lifeguards! Safety is extremely important for swimming, especially swimming areas with high occupancy

With the strength of the surf, ripcurrents and undertoes here there should be more lifeguards not less! I am an experienced surfer and understand this very clearly!

Why is this even being considered? The population in our area Flagler Beach & Palm Coast Is exploding not to mention the numbers throughout the state. Increase the number of life guards. As much as I don’t like the idea have paid parking. Residents should have a decal for free parking. Our tax dollars are already stretched.

Our waters are extremely rough most of the time for swimming. I have gotten in trouble myself and needed help out. My son and grandson visiting also got into trouble during a turbulent day. Why would you even consider this?!! Cut somewhere else. Lives are more important then the money you could save here! We have a crazy amount of people come into our city every weekend and with summer coming, it will be all week long! When people start drowning, just tell us who we should go to to get our point across??
