The undersigned Facebook members and Zynga Game players, especially Cafe World, request that the problems with gifts and bonuses be resolved in such a way as to be CONSISTENT, CONVENIENT, and to preserve our COMMUNITY. CONSISTENT: It would be great if collecting bonuses and gifts all acted the same way, whether accepting a Mystery Gift, a Lotto Ticket, a Stove Part, or any new gifts and bonuses that come out in the future. We believe that there are methods that could be used to protect our gifts from accumulators and poachers. Maybe like banking software where you click on an image out of three options that matches a displayed one. Then you would get a confirmation that the gift had been collected, then choose going back to collect more gifts. Or closing the window. CONVENIENT: We like being able to exchange gifts and post and collect bonuses from the feed, but these days, it takes too many CLICKS and too much BANDWIDTH because for nearly every bonus, the game has to load to collect. The new system of accepting gifts has led to numerous error messages, such as "There is a problem in the kitchen", "webpage not available", and "you may have already accepted this gift through the message center" (when in fact that is not true). In addition, sometimes you open a gift that someone has sent you and you get a message that the item is gone! How would you feel if you got a birthday gift that turned out to be an empty box? COMMUNITY: People like Cafe World and the other social games because of the sense of community. Gifts and bonuses are one of the main ways people interact to enhance their game play. People actually get to know each other and chat and post helpful information for fellow game players. If the gifts and bonuses do not work properly, people have less incentive to post bonuses, send gifts and interact. Fixing this system will help preserve this community.
