Student, faculty, and staff safety needs to be a priority on the campus of King College. The brick sidewalks might have been beautiful at one point, but in their current condition, that beauty is deteriorating. Furthermore, the numerous broken portions of the sidewalks cannot be considered safe. The purpose of this petition is to convince the administrators at King College that there is an overwhelming interest in forming a fundraising committee composed of students, faculty, staff and alumni that will actively address this problem. This committee will meet regularly and will be devoted to raising funds for this project. This is OUR campus. Let's take control and make it a safer, more beautiful King College. Our goal is to present this petition, along with other data, in a team presentation on November 20, 2008. If the students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of King College, in a unified voice, call for this change to occur, perhaps we can catalyze the initial steps of this long-awaited project.
