Save Lives - Get rid of the S curve, Highway 70 @ Wentzville

Fix the S Curve.

RIP to all the people who have lost their lives here. I know a family that is very near and dear to me that lost 2 loved ones just last year there. Prayers to all the families who have lost loved ones here.

I noticed the guardrail was badly damaged recently. There are way too many accidents here. Please fix it.

My little brother died under the train tracks there. I was a school bus driver that traveled that stretch of highway for years and have seen many, many accidents at that spot. Very dangerous! Please fix so no other family has to suffer like ours has.

Yes!!! A friend of mine died at that S corner, also a cpl moths ago my truck randomly shut off on hwy, pulled off the shoulder and still my son and i almost got hit twice at that exact corner. Same exact spot the car accident was at, not even a wk ago. At the SAME spot!! Even getting on the hwy there is dangerous!

Change it.

How many more serious accidents need to happen before this is fixed??

I work in wentzville and this highway is dangerous something needs to be done about these curves. To many life lost

I drive this every day and it is terrible there especially trying to get on 70 from 40.

I know one of the two young men that lost there life here at this spot it was a sad time for alot of people

I drive through here everyday and wonder why nothing has been done yet to fix the issue or the issue of the back up of Wentzville Parkway spilling down onto highway 70.

This section of hwy 70 is very dangerous!!

My little brother and his best friend lost Thier lives right here! In fact this picture is the scene of his accident. Every time I drive past here I get sick! Not only because my baby brother lost his life here, but there is always new wrecks and they happen often! I would love to help support in anyway of getting this done!

How many wrecks does it take to realize that this is a dangerous section on I-70?

I petition for this part of the highway to be straightened out to be safe I travel this every single day sometimes four times a day and it's frightening. Too many people have lost their lives at this Dead Man's Curve it's a snake please please do something the road needs to be widened all the way up to Wright City it needs to be three lanes to

Please re-work this stretch of highway. More lanes are needed and it needs to be a straighter stretch.

My husband travels 70 daily with children in the car, just like many families do. We are teaching teenagers how to drive on this interstate I can’t agree more how dangerous it is at this location of 70 in wentzville and the unnecessary back up, hard braking, and time spent sitting through the traffic it brings. Please bring safety for families and all alike. Why hasn’t this been looked into?
