Save Lives - Get rid of the S curve, Highway 70 @ Wentzville

I used to work in south county & getting on 70 was terrifying when semis are rounding the bend in the lane I’m accelerating into. Getting off 40 onto 70 on my way home was the same nightmare! I understand why it wasn’t widened and straightened before Wentzville began to explode, but that is no longer the case. This stretch of Hwy 70 is exactly why my husband & I voted “YES” when a tax increase was on the ballot for MODOT. We were disappointed when it didn’t pass. This stretch of Hwy needs to be STRAIGHTENED &&& WIDENED!

Definitely needs attention! Been out in Wentzville since 2010 and there have been numerous accidents at this location.

I strongly would like this changed, for the lives of many others to be spared.

I drive that structure Highway everyday back and forth to work is very dangerous and I have seen many accidents there. Let's get it fixed before somebody else's loved ones have to be injured or even worse die.

Yes, this is very dangerous something needs to be done I don't like driving on it and have 3 teenagers that drive it makes me really scared of something happening and most people are not paying real attention there is just to much traffic at that point!!

Very unsafe area of highway. Known for being dangerous. Many accidents.

This part of 70 is way overdue to be fixed. Too many accidents happen here.

Dangerous and needs to be corrected

As a truck driver and as a Wentzville resident, I can honestly say this S curve needs to go.

Its a very good idea to fix this because there is a accident there almost everyday.

Time to fix this!

Fix this problem, nobody else should have to lose the people they love.

Very dangerous section of interstate 70. You would think with St. Charles Co. and Wentzville, Mo listed as one of the fastest growing countries / communities within the state for Missouri for the past 10 years. That this issue would have already been addressed. This section of interstate 70 should be improved and widen from the 70 / 40 interchange to Foristell Missouri.

Something is going to have to change soon enough before it gets out of hand. The population just keeps growing but not the roads. We must take action jow!
