The state already knows the statistics regarding this stretch of road, and is far past being negligent in forcing a resolution between MODOT and the railroad company. Someone needs to get beyond the politics and figure out how to fund these changes. The 70/40/Hwy Z interchanges can't be tweaked any more than they have been already, which furthers the danger in this area. It's beyond time to redesign this entire stretch of 70, along with the interchanges with 40, Church St and Wentzville Parkway.

This is a condition, that because of the growth in our city and St. CHARLES county, will continue to get worse. Thank you for taking the first step to make a change in the current quo.

The road needs to go over the RR tracks. Every time we get a little rain the oil from the RR runs down on the Hwy and makes slippery road.

Lived here all my life. Cannot tell you how many accidents that has happened in this area. Friends hurt very badly not to mention how many deaths. There is an answer and a fix. Help save lives please.
