Fix Medicare NOW

If Congress continues it's current path all too soon America's elderly & disabled will be completely without medical care. It is a shame that the very people who funded Medicare for years are now being denied needed care. It's time for Congress to stand up for the people who voted to put them in office.

It is truly a sad state of affairs when a country as rich and powerful as the United States of America is willing to give billions of dollars to other countries and at the same time refuse to provide proper, adequate medical care to its own elderly and disabled citizens who have supported this country for their entire working lives. As a veteran on disability, one of my daily worries should not be is if my doctor can still afford to see me tomorrow. It is not time to celebrate the "Affordable Care Act"; it is time to fix Medicare NOW.

It's past time for our Congressional Leaders to step up to the plate and fix the Medicare reimbursement rate before irreparable harm is done to the recipients who need it the most. Failure to do so is detrimental to is irresponsible leadership and Americans must stand together and let their voices be heard!

Patches cost more in the long run than the fix itself. Please remove SGR from Medicare
