In light of the economic and health conditions in the country;

In light of the instability of the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Lebanese pound (LL);

And since the school budget provided to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is in Lebanese pound (LL);

Based on the Lebanese laws, the most important of which are:

a. Ministry of Economy and Trade (Circular No. 7/1 A.T.), related to imposing the necessity to price in Lebanese Pounds (L.L.);

b. Consumer Protection (Law 659/2005, Article 25), which imposes the professional and service provider to deliver the consumer an invoice in the Lebanese currency; and

c. Law on Money and Credit (no. 13513/1963, Article 1), stating that the money unit of the Lebanese Republic is the Lebanese Pound.

And since the clarity of the mutual obligations between the parents and the school is essential to its stability, and it is in the interest of all parties

We, the undersigned parents, in accordance with our right to know what we are committing to, clearly and accurately, request that installments and fees be fixed in the WLC School in Lebanese Pounds (L.L) for the next academic year.

في ظل الأوضاع الاقتصادية والصحية التي تمر بها البلاد؛

وفي ضوء عدم استقرار سعر صرف الدولار الأمريكي مقابل الليرة اللبنانية (ل.ل.)؛

وبما أنّ موزانة المدرسة المقدمة لوزارة التربية والتعليم العالي تعتمد الليرة اللبنانية (ل.ل.)؛

وبناء على القوانين اللبنانيّة وأهمّها:

أ. وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة (التعميم رقم 7/1 A.T.) المتعلق بفرض ضرورة التسعير بالليرة اللبنانية (ل.ل.)؛

ب. حماية المستهلك (القانون 659/2005 ، المادة 25)، التي تفرض على مقدم الخدمة تسليم فاتورة للمستهلك بالعملة اللبنانية؛

ج. قانون النقد والتسليف (رقم 13513/1963 ، المادة 1)، الذي ينص على أن الوحدة النقدية للجمهورية اللبنانية هي الليرة اللبنانية.

وبما أنّ وضوح الالتزامات المتبادلة بين الأهل والمدرسة أساسيّ لاستقرارها، ويقع في صالح كلّ الأطراف فيها

نحن الأهالي الموقعين أدناه، وفاقًا لحقنا في معرفة ما نلتزم به بصورة واضحة ودقيقة، نطلب تثبيت الأقساط والرسوم في مدرسة WLC بالليرة اللبنانية (L.L) واعتمادها للعام الدراسي القادم.
