For stores especially with high number of products it is essential to bulk update the product information via file import and technically it is not a viable solution to do it one by one for every single product. However, as a Shopify store owner you may have realised that by exporting/importing product data via CSV files, the Google product data information will be ignored.
Despite the existence of such feature in Shopify, the platform support suggests buying a separate app to do the job! However, besides the monthly subscription costs, these apps can not truly satisfy the actual need.
We would like to ask Shopify to take an actual action towards resolving the issue. While it is nice to have a better UI design in the back-end (apparently their current focus) it is even more important to offer the most essential functionality features as well.
PLEASE SET A HIGH PRIORITY FOR FIXING GOOGLE PRODUCT INFO IMPORT VIA CSV IMPORT.

Google Product category has become a very important tool for good online marketing and presence on the Google platform. They should fix this ASAP!
