i have read and bought all 9 of the books and i loved them.
i was waiting for this movie since 2009 and hated it from the second it started.
What they should do is make a new one that follows up after the first one, but they must use different charactrs and inprove on EVERYTHING!

this movie was beyond terrible. I waited forever for it to be made and released. only to be settled for extreme dissapoinment. you could do so much better.

I guess the max ride movie was okay but the wings made me so mad and the costumes!!! When the movie was announced they made it like a big deal and I was pretty disappointed about how it turned out. THE MOVIE NEEDS A REDO!!!!

The Movie was a big dissapointment for me and my friends since we liked the books a lot and just got back into it. But the Movie was just really bad. :c

I am a big fan of this series as well, and I too, was very disappointed in this movie. 1) Angel only had about two sentences she spoke. Maybe less. 2) Fang was never announced AT ALL. And he's not blonde! 3) The wings looked completely fake, everything did!!! 4) Ella wasn't even Hispanic like she is supposedly in the book! 5) Total never came in this movie!!! 6) It wasn't even like the damn book!!! I have so many other complaints, like Nudge was too old as was Angel and Gazzy!!! I was so pissed! They needed to make a series, that's more realistic, than a movie. I was so disappointed, I was literally yelling at the Tv saying everything that was wrong about this movie >_<

As a longtime fan of the Maximum Ride series, I too was horribly disappointing in the film to the point that I turned it off around twelve minutes in. The special effects were retched and frankly, the casting could've been done better by a drunken three year old. I have the utmost respect for Mr. Patterson and I hope that he can see that his series could be so much more.

I do think they need to remake the maximum ride movie. One, Fang legit wasn't even right along with max, iggy, and Angel kind of, looked NOTHING like them and the wings were terrible, skipping SO many parts and I just hated it, PLEASE REMAKE STUDIOS!!! ;-;

I agree wholeheartedly, this was my favorite series during my adolescence. The movie was a disgrace to the book series. I think this movie was ridiculous, sloppy, and not only disappointing, but disrespectful to the vision of the author.
