The park is becoming worse & worse over the years,
Something needs to be done about it before someone is seriously injured at that park.

Lismore seriously lacks places for teenagers to go. Please fix the skatepark, I have 2teenage sons who go there regularly & it's in terrible condition-some1's gonna end up hurt. It's also outdated. I wholeheartedly support this petition & am asking any1 who cares about keeping our kids safe,healthy & out of trouble to support it as well. Thankyou

It would be nice to have a smoother surface and extra obstacles in a variety of difficulties from novice to professional

I've been the Lismore a few times and it's absolutely horrible for the amount of young kids there wanting to learn stuff is crazy the transition, the curve to the ramps/banks and don't forget the the ground the is like trying to ride/skate on gravel is ridiculous especially if you fall off and also the cracks, ridges and bumps in the ground like come on I'm sure Lismore city council could to something to put back into the community because let's face it they don't spend any money on the roads

It is in dire need of repairs! If this was finally fixed up it would actually get fixed and all skaters could enjoy using it, young and old

When I was a teenager the then fresh Lismore skate park was the cool place to hang on a wknd - we'd hustle a parent to drop us there and we were entertained all day, please fix it up so kids can enjoy it again and have something to encourage them to be active and awesome

The first Skatepark in the northern rivers, the only vert ramp around for over 100km's. This park should be upgraded to be one of the best parks in NSW. Have said for years if the council had of dismantled the old Nimbin steel ramps & demolished the old park & joined them up it would be one of the best parks in Australia.

And connect it to town somehow..with bike/skate paths so they don't feel quarantined out of town. It is horrible what a few brats did ti the new gallery seats. If they weren't so rebellious about doing something as passive as skating they may just simply enjoy it and not be tempted to vandalise. I am in spain at the moment.. bike.. skaters.. weird electric two wheelie things all coexist safely witb pedestrians.
