I grew up with Spongebob and as the years have progressed from the start of the series. The content and what the audience is taken is less and less appropriate for children under 14. I don't understand half of the inappropriate content that is put on the air for children to watch. I assumed the producers are aware that the intended audience is not always who they are targeting. My younger sister is about 6 years old and consume this show like no tomorrow. I am not basing my argument off of how much TV she watched but the content she is taking in. I will watch alongside with her and stars like Johnny Knoxville (which is from Jack***). He is know for doing ridiculously stunts that should not be attempted. It boggles my mind why a guest star like that could even lead to the younger ones researching him and someone stumble upon the movies he's made with his crew. Some of the images I have collaged together are some few instances that I remember off the top of my head that kindof shocked me. The story line has gotten more and more outrageous such as the episode when Patrick was using a butt cruncher. The show show should be at least PG-13 but instead it is currently rated as TV-Y7. This makes no sense. We need more surveillance of what is being put on TV and how Spongebob overly highlights content that should be kept in private away from youthful eyes.
