As an out of state student, IUP already isn't the cheapest school. I decided to attend IUP because of the quality of the music faculty and facilities. This was a better fit for me than any New York school I looked at, and I took the hit to pay out of state tuition for that reason. This new per-credit payment policy would more than likely cause prospective students in my situation to look the other way, or just stay in state and settle for a lesser experience.

My son attends cook Honors college. At Iup. He is currently a sophomore. Soon to be JR.

I am a first semester senior and will be graduating in the fall. Unfortunately I need 15 credits to graduate then and I will have to pay an extra $1,000 next semester in order to do so. Numerous students who come from low income families will not be able to afford this change.

I'm looking into transferring because I already pay so much money to this school that doesn't seem to care about my opinions.

I am a future student of IUP and this makes me regret that decision. I struggle with enough financial hardships already and constantly wonder how I'll afford college without this extra amount added to what I'll have to pay out.

The higher the cost the less students attend. The less students that attend the higher the cost will go up to fill in the void. Colleges are on a down hill spiral. Cut the pensions cut the bonuses and focus on ur job. Providing a good solid education to make not only students futures brighter but Americas brighter

Be considerate of your already enrolled students. Be compassionate by not giving them more financial burden. Don't be greedy!

to think that raising the price of tuition will fix any problems the university higher ups are saying exist (student "attitudes" and student population loss) is absurd. if anything this policy change will just make both of these issues worse. the amount of people who will be able to afford to come here will decrease, so in turn the population will drop as well. and as for students so called "attitudes", no one is happy about this. You have changed our attitudes, and it sure isn't in a positive way
