Winter is coming, resellers of electricity in SE8 la Montania needs to charge customers (la montania residents) a normal tariff as stipulated in the GUIDELINES ON ELECTRICITY RESALE (Alinea 8.9) approved by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA).
We (SE8 La Montania residents) would like to focus solely on our end goal, the electricity tariff needs to be reviewed based on Gauteng regional standards as stipulated in NERSA APPROVED TARIFFS (page 15).

Start: Body corporate review electricity rates agreement with private company reselling electricity in SE8 La Montania.
Now: Do not only sign and share, propel the issue forward within your circle of influence.

I think the price we pay for the electricity is extremely expensive. In 2 years that I've lived here my amount has gone up by R300 - R350 per month
The electricity supply should be according to NERSA tariffs. It is not appreciated that one lives in an apartment complex to lower costs, but your electricity usage is more than a regular double story building in town. The amount payable for my electricity since 2019 has been R1 500-00 per month. I find it rather difficult to pay said amount monthly and get only a few units. If this is not dealt with I am sure we can take the matter beyond the trustees if not rectified and take it directly to CSOS and make them comply with regular price tariffs.
Outrageous tariff we paying for minuscule watts! In total agreement with the intention of the petition.

In theres hard times I cant be working for electricity something needs to be gone urgently
