Lived here all my life and accident have always been bad. It's easy to speed through there and when you are the person turning left there is NO VISIBILITY for oncoming traffic.

I agree. The safety of that intersection is in desperate need of review.

Yes, the intersection really needs to be redesigned. There is definitely a blind spot when in the turning lane for 501 North. If there are cars in the oncoming turning lane, you can't see if there is through traffic. It's very unsafe!

Yes....please fix this issue! Such a busy intersection and many like myself with children use it everyday during the school year.

I actually worked in the business office at CDOT when this intersection was being redone. The project manager Mike (last name don't remember) assured me they were fixing this. Just the same problem. If you are in the left turn lane turning on to CR 501 and there are cars in the opposite left turn lane turning by the Conoco station you CAN NOT see if there is traffic coming. I will sit there and wait until I can see. VERY Dangerous situation.

I talked sometime back to the CDOT guy who sets the intervals on these Statewide and he informed me that the Marshall's office requested this interval setting . It's used to keep people at the lights longer at nighttime ... draw your own conclusions.
