I have been in correspondence with the council regarding the current access restrictions at Fishponds Playing Fields. The responses received thus far demonstrate a need for further pressure to ensure these spaces remain available for public recreation.

The level of public interest in the future of the Fishponds Playing Fields is quite remarkable. This momentum indicates that the community is ready for meaningful change regarding public access to our recreational spaces.

Ridiculous that this is closed on weekends. It is right on our doorstep and we cant even use it. Get it open.
Total waste of space. Kids need to be outside playing football instead of stuck on their phones all summer. Sort it out wandsworth.

My kids have nowhere to go and this place is just sitting there locked up while we have to drive ages to find a decent park. Open the gates for us!
