The city of Uintah made the mistake of removing the antique, historical wrought iron fence from around Arthur and Emily Firth's family plot without the permission or notification of the family. The fence was over 100 years old, it was unique and made the Uintah Cemetery special. As their family and/or local community residents, we would like them to right their wrong by having the a replication fence rebuilt.
Arthur and Emily were among the earliest pioneers to settle the Weber County Area. Their family and descendants have been and are large contributors to the establishment and greatness of Uintah, South Weber and Riverdale. This fence served as a memorial and testament of the people and family they were, their importance to each other, and to the community.
Please help us make sure our family isn't forgotten. When you sign the petition please indicate your relationship to the Firth's or if you are a citizen in the Riverdale, Uintah, South Weber area and what city you're from now or originally.
