This is Frederick Douglass' town. Situations like this should not be tolerated in 2015. We have to break the neck of racism everywhere!

If he doesn't go, the whole school board needs too, Superintendent, Principal, every one of them.

The comments made here, are deeply rooted in hate. Punishment is not what is needed, Mr. Cabral needs to be removed from his place of authority over our youth. As mentors and leaders we hold each other to a higher degree than this character, hate speech is indictative of a larger problem, it must be removed from the conversation.

since when is it okay to have a bigot and a racist educating our children? Ignoring racism will not make it go away. Making these type of people take responsibility for their actions will.

NB doesn't need this attention. Really poor judgment on Lino's part. I hope to God the city doesn't come apart.

As firing may be one step, we have to do more to address the systemic racism and racist ideology that exists among the administration, faculty and students. The administration has dropped the ball and has created an even more threatening and hostile environment! Harm has been done, let's address the situation in entirety.

These racist and violent comment are unacceptable. Lino Cabral needs to be fired and an investigation of the school is needed.
