Firing Franklin County dog shelter staff for random dog deaths

This is NOT acceptable at all. Ive never dealt with Franklin during my rescue years. Its hard on us who really care about these animals to deal with such ignorance.

I am fostering a dog that they were going to euthanize because of his age and him being "aggressive". Well he has a horrible ear infection and is being treated. He is in my house with 10 cats and kittens and 2 small dogs and shows no aggression. He just wants love. He loves to play outside and sleep in a bed and gives lots of kisses. He would be dead for no reason if my rescue didn't pull him. They lie and make up reasons to euthanize animals. This place needs a new director and restructured to be the "shelter" it is supposed to be.

As a tax payer I vote to build bigger shelters .so this can stop !!!

Why can't you adopt a more compassionate model of rescue for these poor pups? If Cleveland can have a 91% release rate so can you!

FCDS is lipstick on a pig, looks good in the front while being high kill shelter in the back. The lack of effort to save and allow for rescue and adoption is shameful.

I have seen a few posts from them showing dogs that need homes, but I'd like to see what their guidelines are . I'm sure more could be done to save animals working with rescues more.

They don’t work with rescuers It seems they would rather euthanize the dogs than try to save them

People who can. Kill or abuse innocent animals are cruel and heartless. They are the ones who needs caged with death sentences
