No need for killing an innocent animal, he was at the shelter because he needed a home not for heartless people to put a perfectly healthy dog down. This needs to stop, and yes firing the person or persons responsible is the right thing to do!!

The director Kay Persinger and her direct report all need to be replaced with compassionate and progressive thinking management. Their preference is to kill rather than save a dog with minor behavior issues or medical needs. They are breaking local rescues ability to save all the dogs that FCDS throws on death row. They have the funds available. They just need a work force that cares about saving lives.

This was an unnecessary death of a poor dog that was about to get rescued. This needs to stop!

The problem sits with the Commissioners and the Director!!!! All need replaced and this “murdering machine” revamped and a moratorium on killing to re-evaluate everyone and procedures now in place!! Not acceptable period!! To “murder” healthy animals!!

They should all be fired, with a new crew coming in as they are going out, it is supposed to be a humane area not an inhumane area.

So sad!
They killed my brothers dog in July. She had been there before when she got out. This time they didn’t give her a chance. Ridiculous!

No need to murder innocent dogs. Need employess that can research lost post and see if some of the animals belong to people before killing them.
